God has given us the desire of our heart --to come
and evangelize the children of Africa. This Good News Clubr
is held in the yard of Mike and Cindy Buhrke, our friends from another mission. The children
just keep bringing new kids and more and more are receiving Jesus as their
Saviour. |
| This club is held in a private hostel. This is a home
for children from out of town, where they get room and board while going
to school in our town of Tsumeb. These children are receiving something
else. God has brought us together with them, so they can become God's children
when they put their faith in Jesus. This club has been a bit more challenged
by the teaching in English, as most speak other languages at home. Aren't
they beautiful children? |

We are pleasantly surprised by all the boys, as well
as girls, who come to club week after week. You should hear them say their
Bible verses that they have memorized...they are doing so well! May God
change their lives through His Gospel message! |
| Jony - When he responded to the invitation, Linda
asked him if he had ever sinned. He replied, yes, lots of times! Sounds
like he starting to understand English...what do you think? |

CEFr staff at first Namibian staff conference. Left
to right: Magda and Jean Brand and their three sons; Pietjie and Henk Dauth;
Linda, Brian and Kevin Davelaar. Joyce Van Ness is taking the picture.
The Board and volunteer teachers were unable to be present. Everyone except
the Davelaars work in the capitol city, Windhoek. |
| Our family's accomodations at the first staff conference,
along with our "mission machine," a FORD double cab bakkie (truck). Thanks
to our supporters for our wheels which take us many places. The towns here
are often hours apart! |
